We live in a democratic era. Democracy has been so effective in the present form of the world during the recent century. Today, democracy is more than just a government system, and has transformed into a lifestyle. Economy has been democratized. Culture has been democratized. Technology and information has been democratized. We have violence democratization as well. It has caused structural, social, and cultural changes in developing countries. Such changes have created two general approaches. One is desire to globalize in different fields, and the other is desire to localize and return to historical selfhood.

The outcome of these two desires is what we see as the present status of Iran; an unreal gap which could not be filled. The gap is in society as well as human relations, and even in each single subject. Nothing is correspondent with itself. The unpleasant event is filling such gap with ideological contents. There are so many cultural, commercial, and social products in societies the role of which is to hide present gaps in the status. and plays the role of a machine for the production of fantasy. In this collection, reproduction of familiar visual signs and converting them to new conceptual pieces is seen; Signs the meaning of which changes by cultural, social, and historical ground, and the route is changed. The symbolic image of pluralism through familiar forms is the repetitive motif in this collection.
